ABOUT US

The award-winning Art Riot Studio was founded in March 2025 by award-winning, multi-disciplinary artist, writer, performer, and educator Lorna Callery-Sithole, with the ethos that art, in all its forms, belongs to everybody.

Lorna is a fully qualified secondary teacher of Art & Design with over twenty years’ experience delivering interdisciplinary arts projects to community groups, mainstream and ASN secondary schools, and prisons across Scotland.

In June 2026 Lorna also launched Art Riot Press, promoting marginalised writers and artists from Scotland and beyond.

Art Riot Studio is an inclusive creative space in the heart of Paisley, where children, young people and adults can explore art, build confidence, and unleash their creativity.

We offer kids’ art classes (5-10 years), teen art classes (11+ years), Creative Easter and Summer Camps, Adult Creative Club, Paint & Sip sessions, kids’ birthday parties, adult birthday (or non-birthday) parties, corporate team-building events and creative community workshops.

Whether you’re picking up a paintbrush for the first time, developing your skills or simply looking for a fun, creative experience, everyone is welcome at Art Riot Studio.
